		Sept. 8		Church Office is closed in honor of Labor Day
		Sept. 12		Ingathering Sunday / Water Communion - Our worship services resume and we celebrate our traditional Water Communion. Everyone is encouraged to bring a bit of water (or rock, or a shell) from somewhere that was meaningful over the summer. This is an intergenerational service. There is no church school on this date.
		Sept. 16		Church Board Meeting - Open to all.
		Sept. 18		Contra Dance - Music lovers and dancers of all ages and abilities welcome! Live music, refreshments and lots of fun. Contra Dance is generally held the third Saturday each month 7 - 10 PM. Free will donation is accepted.
		Sept. 26		Church School Begins - Classes are held on Sundays during Worship Service; 10:30 AM
		Sept. 31		Cooking Ahead for Bread of Life dinner on Oct.1 - Cooking takes place at our church for Bread of Life dinner that will be held the following evening at First Baptist Church, Malden, MA
		Oct. 1		Bread of Life - MUUC will serve dinner at First Baptist Church, 493 Main Street, Malden, MA. Volunteers should arrive at 4 PM and will be finished by 7 PM.
		Oct. 4		Lunch Together - Bring your bag lunch to church the first Monday of each month at noon and chat while you eat.
		Oct. 4		Melrose Alliance Against Violence: Mentor Meeting 6:30 - 8 PM
		Oct. 11		Church Office is closed in honor of Columbus Day
		Oct. 16		Sally Patton Workshop - A workshop to teach how to get past our labels with children and welcome all children to our programs.
		Oct. 23		Caulk-A-Rama: 8 AM - 3 PM. More details to follow.
		Oct. 23		Iron Chef Competition 5 - 9 PM. More details to follow.
		Oct. 30		Haunted House and Halloween Party - The Church Youth Groups will host an eery evening of fun! More details to follow.
